Why these ingredients work
1. SALICYLIC ACID (BHA). INSIDE THE PORE
Oil-soluble, which means it doesn't just work on the skin's surface — it gets inside the pore itself. Salicylic Acid dissolves the sebum and dead cell buildup that causes congestion, blackheads, and enlarged pores. Regular use keeps pores visibly smaller and significantly reduces the frequency of breakouts by addressing the cause rather than the symptom.
2. AHA (ALPHA HYDROXY ACID). SURFACE RESURFACING
Water-soluble and working at the skin's surface, AHA loosens the bonds between dead skin cells and accelerates their shedding. The result is smoother texture, more even tone, and a natural glow that comes from fresh skin being revealed rather than covered. Works in the opposite layer to Salicylic Acid — together they cover both surface and depth.
3. ROSE WATER. BALANCE + HYDRATION
Distilled from rose petals, Rose Water is naturally anti-inflammatory and mildly astringent — tightening pores and calming any redness that actives can trigger, without stripping moisture. It brings the pH of the toner to a level that keeps both acids effective while ensuring skin feels hydrated and calm rather than tight after application.
How to use our Balancing Toner
/01
APPLICATION
Apply with clean fingertips directly onto skin after cleansing. Press lightly into areas of congestion, forehead, nose, chin where pores are most active. Do not rub or drag across the skin. Let it absorb fully before the next step.

FOR OILY AND PORE-PRONE SKIN
This toner is specifically effective for skin that produces excess oil and has visibly enlarged pores. Used consistently once daily, ideally at night it regulates sebum production over time, so skin becomes less oily with continued use rather than more dependent on product to stay matte.
/03
FREQUENCY
Once daily to start, preferably at night. If your skin tolerates it well after two weeks, you can use morning and night. Avoid using on the same evening as other strong actives like retinol until your skin has adjusted.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) is water-soluble and works on the skin's surface, it dissolves dead skin cells and improves texture and tone. BHA (Salicylic Acid) is oil-soluble and works inside the pore, it clears congestion and controls oil production. Using both in one toner means you are treating the surface and the pore at the same time, which is why this formula works faster than single-acid toners.
-
It shouldn't, used as directed. Rose Water actively counteracts the drying effect that acids can cause, and the concentration is calibrated for daily use rather than aggressive exfoliation. If your skin feels tight after application, reduce to every other night and always follow immediately with moisturizer.
-
This toner is formulated for oily, combination, and pore-prone skin. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, start slowly, every other night, and monitor how your skin responds. Avoid using on broken, sunburned, or actively inflamed skin.
-
Yes, though fingers are recommended for this formula. Applying with fingertips lets you press the toner into congested areas rather than wiping across the surface, which gives better penetration and causes less irritation on skin that's prone to sensitivity.
-
Smoother texture is usually noticeable within 1–2 weeks of consistent use. Pore appearance and oil control improve gradually over 3–4 weeks as the skin adjusts to regular exfoliation and sebum regulation. Consistency matters more than frequency, once daily every day outperforms twice daily used occasionally.
