Ingredients come first
Every ingredient in our Lip Moisturizer is there for a reason. Not to fill a label, not to hit a price point, to actually repair and protect your lips. We formulate with the most nourishing, bioavailable forms of each botanical so your skin gets the full benefit, not a diluted version of it.
Why these ingredients work
1. COCOA BUTTER + SHEA BUTTER. DEEP NOURISHMENT
Both butters penetrate beyond the surface to rebuild moisture where lips lose it most. Rich in fatty acids that mimic your skin's natural lipid layer — so they restore softness that actually lasts.
2. LANOLINE. MOISTURE LOCK
One of the most effective natural moisture-sealing ingredients available. Lanoline forms a breathable barrier on the lip surface, holding hydration in for hours without the greasy, slippery finish of synthetic alternatives.
3. ROSEHIP OIL. REPAIR + SMOOTHING
Cold-pressed from wild rosehip seeds, this oil is naturally high in essential fatty acids that accelerate skin cell renewal. It heals cracked texture from the inside out and visibly smooths lips that have been roughened by wind, cold, or dryness.
4. VITAMIN C + VITAMIN E. PROTECT + BRIGHTEN
Vitamin E neutralizes free radical damage from UV exposure and environmental stress. Vitamin C brightens and supports collagen production in the delicate lip tissue. Together they defend against the daily damage that makes lips look dull and feel rough.
How to use our Lip Moisturizer
/01
DAILY USE — MORNING & NIGHT
Apply a small amount to clean lips using your fingertip. A little goes a long way — this is a concentrated formula, not a watery balm. Use every morning before going outside and every night before bed as your last step.
/02
FOR DRY OR CRACKED LIPS
Apply a slightly thicker layer at night and leave it overnight. The combination of Shea Butter and Lanoline works while you sleep to repair deeply cracked or peeling lips within a few days of consistent use.
/03
LAYERING
Safe to use under lip color during the day. Apply, let it absorb for 60 seconds, then apply your lip product on top. Your color will last longer and your lips won't dry out underneath.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Most lip balms use wax and silicone to coat the surface and create the feeling of moisture without actually delivering it. Our Lip Moisturizer uses Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Rosehip Oil to penetrate and repair the lip tissue itself — not just sit on top of it.
-
For mildly dry lips, softness is noticeable within 1–2 days of consistent use. For severely cracked or peeling lips, apply a generous layer overnight for 3–5 nights and you'll see a significant difference in texture and hydration.
-
Yes. Apply a small amount, wait 60 seconds for it to absorb, then apply your lip product on top. It won't break down your color and it keeps lips from drying out underneath throughout the day.
-
All ingredients are natural and free from synthetic fragrance, parabens, and artificial preservatives. Lanoline is well tolerated by most skin types, though anyone with a known lanoline sensitivity should patch test first.
-
It has a very light, natural scent from the Rosehip Oil and Cocoa Butter — nothing added, nothing artificial. No flavoring. It's a skincare product, not a gloss.
